Dear Friend,

The success of reaching out to 3.7 Lakh people nationwide, the happiness earned after being able to save thousands of lives and the satisfaction of being a Santa for the voiceless - that’s what we’re getting high on!

Well, where do we begin - 2016, has by far, been the best year for Living Free India.
A significant contributor to this was the festive month of December, which witnessed exciting outreach by our vegan Santas! Here’s a glimpse of how it went :

West India kissed by Compassion CruisAde : The Compassion brigade in Pune and Mumbai reached out to about 15,000 people in just 6 days! Absolutely amazing! Isn’t it? Apart from leafleting, the workshops on effective outreach received a great response too. Vegan cafes like The Real Green Café, Granny’s Bowl and Kompassion with their sumptuous Tofu Love, Lemon Bars and Paneer Roll(Dairy free of course! ) kept us all charged.  Pune is turning into the go-to place for vegans in the country!

Lucknow redefined “Nawaabiyat”- Brave the Crate, Chalktivism , Leafleting, Lucknow has it all! Be it roads, streets , market place or the river side , the message was clear everywhere - “Go Vegan”.Reaching more than 5,000 people in the month of December, Lucknow bid 2016 a sweet farewell. Well done guys !

Come what may, Chennai won’t stop: Despite the fury of Vardha, Chennai organized the Earthlings Experience with 18 volunteers at the Marina Beach, and reached out to 1,560 people overall. Hats off to their commitment!

Another territory chartered: While Sidharth took a shot to Veganise Dehradun, Angela- a 12th standard girl is spreading compassion in Jaipur and now has volunteers join her team too! Collectively they have reached more than 1000 people. Welcome to the club guys!

As a whole, we reached out to around 35,000 people this month, but the fire that has been kindled shouldn’t die down! Here’s bidding you goodbye with the hope for a better world for our voiceless friends, and of course wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR high!

Ever forward,
