Campaigns
While FIAPO has been set up as a Federation (more on that here), our founding vision includes campaigning on key animal protection issues. These are typically issues that affect a large number of animals, in extremely cruel ways and on which there is not significant work already going on in India — such as replacing the use of animals in toxicity testing. In this manner, FIAPO fills a gap rather than duplicating effort.FIAPO’s key campaigns include Animals in Experimentation, Animals in Food, Living Free,Ban Dolphin Captivity, We Care Srinagar.
We also run a Current Events Response Centre (CERC), the aim of which is to respond quickly - in collaboration with our members and supporters - to the wide spectrum of events relating to animals.
