#JusticeforSAUMYA
Dear Project Elephant,

Elephants are bestowed highest protection under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972. Their rightful place is in the wild. They were never meant to be domesticated. The concept of “ownership” is alien and should not be applied to them.

Recently, Saumya’s death outraged the country. She lost her life and our country her hope. But in every situation, there lies an opportunity for change- a chance to improve our humanity, our chance to improve our image, and our chance to be a proud Indian. Saumya’s death should not go in vain. Acting now to prevent loss of more life is #JusticeforSAUMYA! What will your legacy be?
